We welcome applications from persons active in all areas of physics! Examples of research directions that could be particularly fruitful to pursue include theoretical soft matter and statistical physics; physics based on large infrastructures (external and / or in-house); physics for a sustainable future; development of visualization and analysis methods for biophysics and materials science; and interdisciplinary physics.

Another important aspect involves collaboration within academia and with society at large.
