Join us for the ESTEEM3 Final Infoday, as we conclude this remarkable project.

The project consortium cordially invites you to attend the event on Wednesday, 31st May 2023, from 09:00 to 16:00 CEST. We extend a warm invitation to all external participants interested in the field of Electron Microscopy. Join us for an extraordinary opportunity to explore the EU-funded ESTEEM3 project and its remarkable contributions to the world of Electron Microscopy.

This event will be a celebration of the significant achievements made possible through the ESTEEM3 project, showcasing groundbreaking research and discoveries in the field. Leading researchers in electron microscopy and materials science will present their findings, highlighting cutting-edge microscopy techniques and sustainable materials developed during the project.

Event Details: The event will commence with a welcome introduction by Peter A. van Aken, who will share the main achievements of ESTEEM3. Following this, Angus Kirkland and other Joint Research Activity (JRA) participants will present the JRA achievements.

After a short coffee break, Prof. Miran Ceh from JSI will present the Networking Activities achievements, followed by Prof. Peter A. van Aken's illumination of the Transnational Access achievements of ESTEEM3. A roundtable discussion chaired by Dr. John Walmsley from UCA will delve into the topic of Transnational Access for industry in the context of EU grants.

Post lunch, esteemed researchers will deliver presentations on various topics. Projects such as HSMCO by PhD. Piotr Woźniak, CeramECS by PhD. Elisa Zanchi, Lumi-Nano-LBP by Dr. S.M. Collins, and FLUOTOOTH and MIHTOOTH by Dr. Sophia HOUARI will be discussed.

Following a second coffee break, Dr. Leander Michels will present the IS-SGI project from Elkem Silicon Products in collaboration with UCAM. Prof. Rafal Dunin-Borkowski will then discuss the 'Routes of Sustainability: eDREAM and ARIE'.

To conclude the event, Prof. Peter A. van Aken will share his insights, summarizing the day's proceedings and offering thoughts for the future of electron microscopy.
