ESTEEM3 inteviews : Susana Trasobares Llorente from University of Cádiz

Susana Trasobares Llorente is a professor at the CMIMQI department of the University of Cádiz. She conducts her researches at the "IMEYMAT". In the ESTEEM3 project, she leads the Work Package 8 – Materials for Energy and coordinates the UCA activities in the Work Package 13 – Management of the project.
In this interview, Susana Trasobares Llorente will explain her background, her role, and her views about ESTEEM3.

Workshop on Advanced TEM Sample Preparation (StEM Stuttgart)

From 24 to 28 October 2022, the Workshop on Advanced TEM Specimen Preparation was held at the Stuttgart Center for Electron Microscopy (StEM) of the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany.

Many successful projects stem from transnational access provided by ESTEEM3. This week, we focus on the “Understanding of tritium trapping mechanisms in high dose neutron irradiated beryllium using EELS” project from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, which was granted access to the Institute of Electron Microscopy and Nanoanalysis of the TU Graz (FEMLI) & Graz Centre for Electron Microscopy (ZFE), one of the ESTEEM3 TA provider.
ESTEEM3 at ICRI 2022

From 19 to 21 October 2022, ESTEEM3 participated in the International Conference on Research Infrastructures (ICRI) to discuss the most challenging issues and pressing needs in research infrastructure policy-making related to both the post-pandemic recovery and the future development of research infrastructures, in Brno (Czech Republic).
