Networking Activities in ESTEEM3: Submission of one deliverable
In April 2020, ESTEEM3 submitted a deliverable to the European Commission regarding Networking Activities in the project. The report describes the activities carried out so far in the field of Education and Training in advanced TEM techniques such as workshops, schools and webinars.
COVID-19: ESTEEM3 is extended to 54 months
Since most research infrastructures were closed during the COVID-19 lockdown, the European Commission has approved an extension of 6 months for ESTEEM3. The project will end in June 2023, instead of December 2022.

In April 2020, 6 deliverables have been submitted to the European Commission regarding Joint Research Activities in ESTEEM3. Within the project, Joint Research Activities (JRA) focus on the development of the advanced TEM methods required for the solution of key problems in materials and nanoscience.

In the context of ESTEEM3, a Postdoctoral position is available at CEMES-CNRS, one of the project's partner, on "Advanced electron holography of nano fields". The contract is initially of 12 months, but is extendable to 36 months (3 years).

TA Industrial Success Stories: ECO2D, a collaboration between Catania Beyondnano laboratory and Solvay
Among the various success stories enabled thanks to ESTEEM3 transnational access, some concern the industry: this is the case for the ECO2D project, led by Patrice Le Cornec from Solvay (France), which benefited from access to the Beyondnano infrastructure, in Catania, Italy.
